For standard scheduled visits, submit the full clinical intake at least 6 hours before your appointment.

A deposit or authorization reserves your time. Cancel at least 24 hours before the appointment for a refund of the commitment.
Visit escalation If your intake shows that phone or video is safer than chat, the added $10–$20 is disclosed before you accept.

What happens if I miss the intake deadline?
For a standard visit, the intake is due at least 6 hours beforehand. If it is still incomplete 5 hours before the appointment, the time is released, half of the deposit is kept, and the other half is refunded. To seek care, return to the main site and make a new booking. The lowest-tier Chat Visit may allow the intake to be completed about 15–20 minutes beforehand.
How do lab follow-ups work?
When follow-up may be needed, a provisional time can be held without billing. If results are normal and no discussion is needed, you are notified and the time is released at no charge. If results need discussion, the reserved visit is used and the applicable follow-up fee applies.
Can JosephNP order imaging, labs, or equipment?
Yes, when clinically appropriate. Imaging and diagnostic orders are sent to you so you can choose a facility. You are responsible for scheduling, delivering the order, and handling insurance or prior authorization. An order does not guarantee coverage.
How is AI used in my care?
AI may help organize intake, prepare records, support communication, and reduce administrative work. Joseph reviews the information and remains responsible for clinical judgment and decisions.
Is this an emergency service?
No. JosephNP does not provide emergency or 24/7 care. If you believe you may be experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Does JosephNP handle insurance or prior authorizations?
JosephNP does not bill insurance or manage coverage, appeals, insurer calls, or routine prior authorizations. Limited prior-authorization help may be available for an established chronic medication when the stated GoodRx workflow is completed.
What if Joseph cannot treat my concern?
Telehealth cannot resolve every concern. Once the clinical encounter or clinical work has begun, the visit remains charged even if the safest plan is referral or in-person care.
